A Journey with your Spirit Guides ~ Guided Meditation & Deep Relaxation

In this workshop you will explore journeying processes used by Mystics, Shamans, and Yogis to help you access the spirit wisdom within.

Mystics, Shamans and the ancient Yogis all have written about such experiences for thousands of years. But, it is available to everyone.

You will enter into deep relaxation in Savasana, reclining on the earth with pillows and blankets while you are gently guided through a mystical meditation journey with your Spirit Guides.

Focused guided meditation through the yogic process cultivates a 'Salkalpa' or affirmation intention to access the subconscious mind and initiate transformation and healing and to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation states.

Experience deep relaxation & renewal with Relaxation & Guided Meditation (Yoga Nidra). You will be guided through deep relaxation and guided meditation.

This is a process which explores achieving relaxation by diving into deeper levels of conscious awareness, relieving stress and tension, and relaxing the nervous system. Focused guided meditation through the yogic process cultivates a 'Salkalpa' or intention to access the subconscious mind and initiate transformation and to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation states. This process is done relaxing in 'Savasana,' resting on the mat with blankets and pillows. Studies suggest that 1 hour of this type of Deep Relaxation & Guided Meditation (Yoga Nidra) is equal to 4 hours of sleep, and may help those who practice reduce insomnia and stress and increase inner awareness and focus.

The invention of the the eight stage process of 'Yoga Nidra' and the phrase itself, was developed by Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati in the 20th Century, from his study of ancient Sacred texts. His methods for achieving Yoga Nidra's physical, mental and emotional relaxation states have inspired schools of yoga worldwide, though he is often not credited. The guided meditations at Yoga by the Sea are written by Casey Gash BFA RYT, but endeavor to stay true to the processes established by it's inventors.

Casey believes in teaching as a guide, to empower the student. People connect with their guides each time they send out a thought, each time they pray, each time they set an intention. But, if one has not spent time on this, or learned how, they may think it is not possible.

'Most people I know have experienced a coincidence that they believe is a miracle, believe a prayer has been answered, believe in something divine. But many of us do not come from a tradition of prayer, but want to know more about the possibility of a spiritual realm. I welcome all seekers of all faiths and those who don't necessarily have a faith. If you want to learn some techniques that have helped me, that's what I can offer.' –Casey

Casey's lifetime passion has been the study and experience of spirituality, humanism, mysticism & creativity. Casey Gash is a Kripalu-Certified Yoga Teacher E-RYT-200, with over 1000 hours of teaching experience in addition to over 250 hours of teacher training.

Casey has Level 1 Reiki Certification in the Usui Tradition of Reiki.

Casey studied with Dr. Loren Fishman, MD and Terry Schaff, Yoga Therapist RYT in their course Practicing Safe Yoga: Preventing Yoga Injuries. Casey had the privilege of immersion in Shiva Rae's Sringara Rasa Vinyasa® and Soma Prana Vinyasa®. Guided meditation is process which explores achieving relaxation by diving into deeper levels of conscious awareness - relieving stress and tension, and relaxing the nervous system. You will be guided through meditations, techniques used in 'Yoga Nidra', and other modalities, to focus your attention on the physical, mental and spiritual layers of being.

Restorative Yoga ~ Private Yoga Session

Relaxing postures are sequenced to relieve tensions, create alignment, and restore energy. A slow pace, props, and hands-on assists provide deep stretches in complete relaxation, and are combined with guided breath techniques in a soothing environment. Every Yoga by the Sea session incorporates mindfulness, meditation, and more.
